The 3 Cs, Primary

Audience:  Students, Middle – Upper Primary

Description: This is a general cyber safety session. The workshop provides an overview of the key cyber safety topics and protective factors. The 3 Cs – Contact, Conduct and Content – ensure consistent approaches to keeping safe online.

Teachers will be given resources to use in class to cement the learnings.

NOTE: This workshop has hands-on student activities for numbers under 30. For larger audiences of 30-100 students, the activities will be modified to suit.

Outcomes:

  • Students will understand that the internet is a great place where we can do wonderful things, but like everywhere in life, following some rules can help us keep safe.
  • Students will recognise the importance of being kind online and thinking before they post.
  • Students will develop critical reasoning skills around what is safe to share and with whom.
